Ripoff short changed me & called the police on me

On the 5th of aug, 07 I went to burger king & placed my order at the drive threw. I couldent understand what she was saying so I pulled around to the first window & repeated my order. Three 1.00 chicken sandwiches & one king fries 1.89. She responded with thats 14.00 & whatever change. I said check again thats not right. She did & the total came to 5.32 I asked her if she could add tomatoes & if it was extra, she said I dont know i'm new. I handed her a 20.00 bill, she handed me back 4 dollars & some change. I said wait you gave me the wrong change I handed you a twenty she said ok & closed the window after about 5 minutes of waiting (it was in the 90s that day) I spoke up & said hey whats taking so long, she opened the window & some other lady was standing there & she said we will have to count the drawer before we can give you anything because she thinks you gave her a 10.00 bill so if you will pull up at the curb we will count it I said well I should get my meal free because of the inconvenience to me & havint to wait she said no I cant do that you get a full refund or your money minus the cost of the food.

By then I was upset & I said I want my money & yall need to put somebody on the window that knows what they are doing.

I pulled to the side & after sweating 20 minutes I was tired of waiting & backed back to the second window & the lady there said oh they didnt tell you to come inside. I said no they didnt & she said well you will have to come inside, I said why should I come inside when i'm the one being inconvenienced. She said they can't come outside. I said fine i'm on my way in.

I walked in visibly upset & she said the drawer was 10.06 over & thats all I can give you. I said I dont care what your drawer says I gave her a twenty & i'm not leaving till I get my money. I then noticed the window clerk was out front they had taken her of duty. She then said ok & called the police. When the officer got there she told her side & I told mine. He said I will get all the info from her for the manager, who wasent there I never heard of a resteraunt without a onsite manager & all the way to corporate I have had this happen before but I cant make her give you a refund & I dont want to arrest you for disorderly conduct & atleast you got your food I said no I didnt I didnt get anything. He knew I was telling the truth but there was nothing he could do. He asked to see my reciept & I told him I handed it back with the change. He asked her for it & she said it had allready been voided out & destroyed. After I left there I called a friend who is the manager of a gas station & she said that when she said the drawer was 10.06 over it was the rest of my 20 because they probably counted the drawer against the tape total against the drawer total & since the amount of my meal was on the tape the 5.32 wouldent show up & she probably didnt put the 4 & change back in yet, so at the end of her shift she would be over by the 4& change. She also said any voided tickets have to be sent in with the tape to corporate.
I am very upset about all of this. I havent called corp, or anybody else yet because i'm still very upset by it all.
