Why do Groupon not answer correspondence? - Discount Coupons

Late last year I responded to a Groupon offer on Email on behalf of my daughter, and paid £119.00 for a series of six sessions of laser hair removal for her at Saks Beauty Salon in Leicester. She had the skin test and two of the six sessions, but when she arrived on 29 December for the third appointment, found that the Leicester franchise of Saks had gone into liquidation. Obviously other Saks salons were not interested because it was a franchise, and the offices of Groupon were closed until the New Year.

When trying to contact Groupon by telephone, all I get is a recorded message stating that in order to improve customer service, the telephone number is not available until 'Mid-January', I have now sent six Emails to the company, my daughter has also tried to contact them.

I am receiving absolutely no response, all that happens on Email is an automatic acknowledgement of my message.

Is anyone else having any problems with Groupon? Perhaps they may reply if enough people send enough Emails. The best solution however would be for Groupon to open their telephone lines.
