I purchased a Ridgid 24v Drill several years ago and payed a high dollar to obtain the Lifetime service Agreement, which was obtained when the tool was registered on-line as detailed in the paperwork.
Ridgid will no longer honor the agreement stating that they have no record of my registration.
Due to a computer crash, I no longer have the LSA on record.
They do, however, acknowledge that the drill has already undergone 1 repair, which they claim was a courtesy.
The repair center informed me that they get 3-4 rejections per week from Ridgid on customers who are in similar situations. This has begun around the first of the year.
After the insinuation that I was a liar, I politely hung up. I am certain that I will never buy another Ridgid product and am researching what other companies they own. (Milwaukee, Ryobi, etc.)
