The bundle department sold me a package including Internet and DirectTV service. After the 7-day cancellation period for the DirectTV service, the bundling department called me to inform me that I could not have an internet connection without also paying for a phone line. I then tried to cancel my service and was told that I would have to buy out my contract when DirectTV did not provide the contract that was agreed to. I was the only party that fulfilled my part of the contract and stayed for two years. I am now free of DirectTV and I make an effort to tell 30-50 people per week about the contracts that DirectTV does not live up to.
