I am sitting at home for my 6th repair service call from Sear Home Services. Sears has only shown up 2 times so far. I am praying they show up today. My Kenmore washer is not working properly. For the first scheduled visit, their technician got sick, so we had to reschedule — for 10 days later. The second time, the technician came, replaced a part, left, and then I discovered that the washer would not work AT ALL (it would work, but flash fault codes). They would not send him back that day even though they essentially broke the machine completely. After pitching a fit that they wanted to reschedule for 4 days later, they agreed to send someone the next day. The technician did show up the for the 3rd visit. Of course, he did not have another part to replace the one he put in the day before, so he put my old part back on since I could at least wash a little bit with it. He ordered me a new part and scheduled my 4th repair visit for a week and a day later. Well, my 4th visit resulted in no one showing up. When I called Sears to find out what was up, they informed me that I didn't actually have an appointment that day. I had one scheduled for 2 days later. This was not what I was told to begin with. Ok, 2 days later, Sears Home Services did not show up for the 5th scheduled visit. I am now waiting on my 6th visit, just praying that someone will show up. I understand that things happen, but when a technician was sick or just didn't show up for work that day, I just got thrown back into the mix with all the other customers. I was not taken care of. My time doesn't seem to matter to them since I am now at hour 23 waiting for someone to come to my home — not to mention all the hours spent on the phone trying to get some help.
