Job Posting - Is it legitimate?

My husband was called in for an interview with John McKay of McKay Construction of Norwell, MA. He drove 400 miles from Rochester, NY to meet with this individual; a set time and place was agreed upon. This person reviewed my husband's resume and commented he was too valuable to be in the field and would be used as an estimator/scheduler because he was about to fire Joe, his current estimator. They agreed upon a start date, insurance availability and agreed to meet again to discuss the job expectations and negotiate pay. When my husband arrived for the second appointment at the scheduled time, the owner was not available for the appointment. He agreed to wait. My husband waited 45 minutes only to be met by the individual he was told was going to be fired. This man, Joe, was hostile, rude, disrespectful and had no idea how to properly conduct the meeting at hand. He told my husband to call John later that evening. My husband attempted to no avail. Having driven 7 hours for this appointment, he wanted to properly tie up any loose ends and attempted to speak with John, again to no avail. I want to warn anyone who may see this job posting on Yahoo to think twice before interviewing with this company. Their business practices are questionable, and I would hate to see someone else drive miles to only be treated so rudely. My husband is a professional and only expected to be treated with professional courtesy, something this company lacks.
