Lack of service and professionalism

I had a scheduled appointment for 1:30 PM and representative (tom) called at 1:20 to say that he was running a little behind. He said well i am actually looking at about an 1 1/2 hour delay. He said that his morning job had taken much longer than he expected. He said will that be ok and I said I guess it has to be and i will cancel my afternoon appointment that I had for 4:00. I received a call at 2:30 and he said he was on his way. I stepped outside and when I came back in I had a message that said he had car problems and he was cancelling. He did not offer a new scheduled time offer to send someone else or offer compensation for my wasted day in waiting for his arrival. I called back and told him I was sorry that he had car problems but i wanted the owners number and i was cut off. I am not sure if he hung up or not but when i attempted to call back it went to voicemail. I had my husband call on a different number and it was promptly picked up. My husband spoke with the owner and he was not even offered an appoligy until he requested one. The owner got upset when he realized that I was going to contact the company that he purchased his franchise from. This company is a joke with their professional carpet systems name it could not be further from the truth.
