I do not accept the new excuse Mr Doug Hughes of TRX Alliance is posting on this site. My business is a registered SVC Bureau with the IRS. However, none of that has anything to do with his previous excuses of "checks in mail", "our CFO but money in wrong account and we spent it", "we had employee theft and have fired employees in accounting department and third party we were dealing with", "I'm looking for investors in our new tax software to pay you guys", "I'm getting a loan on my house to pay you guys", "I have to be able to sell my alliance memberships so I can pay you guys" etc, etc, etc.
Please forgive me for not buying into the new excuse that uses big scary agency names and official sounding legal terms posted on an internet complaint site but not sent via any official company communication to clients waiting to be paid.
According to Detective Snyder with the Murfreesboro, TN police department you may call 615-893-2717 and ask for a teleserve agent to file a police report if your claim is less than $5000. If your claim is over $5000, then you need to go to your local police department and ask them to file a "courtesy report". That report then needs to be sent to Detective Jim Gauge who will get it to the appropriate person. They are very familiar with the complaints coming in but can't just take a report over the phone for such large amounts.
