McKay construction
Is this job posting legitimate?

My husband was asked to interview with McKay Construction of Norwell, MA. John McKay, the owner, called and set up an agreed upon time and place. My husband traveled 400 miles from Rochester, NY in good faith to meet with this company. He arrived on time and was told by John that he was too valuable to be in the field and would be utilized as an estimator/scheduler. He expressed that his current estimator was losing him money and would be fired on Friday. This person's name was Joe. A job start date was set, health insurance discussed, and another meeting to further discuss job expectations and negotiate pay was arranged. Upon arriving for this meeting, my husband was told John was unavailable and would he like to wait. He waited 45 minutes only to be met by Joe, the man who supposedly was going to be fired. This person was hostile, confrontational, rude and disrespectful. Obviously he was insecure with his own position within the company. He told my husband to call John that evening. He tried to no avail. Wanting to put a professional close to this situation, he tried to contact John before driving back to Rochester, This owner hid in his office behind locked doors and would not answer his phone. I want to warn others who see his posting on Yahoo Job to think twice before interviewing with this company. Their business practices are unethical and unprofessional.
