On 6/28 I purchased 2 floor cushions on clearance for $9.98 the Pace location on Hwy. 90. I needed more so I came to the Nine Mile Road location on 6/30 with my receipt from the Pace store. When I got to the register I told the cashier that the floor cushions were not marked the same as the Pace Store. These cushions were still marked $13.98. I showed the cashier my receipt and was promptly told that you only price match competitive stores but will NOT match with other Target prices. I asked for the manager and was told again by the MOD Kat the same policy of not matching other Target store prices. After questioning the MOD further and stating that I would just not purchase the items she asked to see my receipt verified that I was purchasing the same item and agreed to match the price. I was also asked to contact the company by the MOD so that I could understand why this policy makes any sense.in a tough economy it seems like you would go out of your way to please customers rather than lose business.
