On 6/28/10 I purchased to 2 floor cushions for my classroom on clearance for $9.98 at the Pace location on Hwy 90. I really needed more cushions so I went to another location in Pensacola on Nine Mile Rd on 6/30/10. Unfortunately, the cushions were only marked down to $13.98. I took my receipt from 6/28 and requested that they charge the same as the Pace location. I was told by the cashier and the MOD, Kat, that you only
Price match competitors but NOT other Target store prices. I wanted to purchase 4 more cushions but really had to press for a reason as to why you don't price match your own prices from store to store.in this economy, I would hope that any store would be happy to have business. Customer service should be at an all time high to encourage purchasing. After asking the MOD Kat for a reason as to why you can't price match when I have the exact item with a dated receipt, she finally agreed. She also stated that if I was unhappy with the current policy I should contact Target.com or call. So I would like a reasonable explanation as to why your company policy does NOT allow pricing matching from store to store. I shop Target loyally but find this policy to be very unfriendly to the consumer. Sincerely, Cindy Walke
