I purchased a pair of prescription glasses at Sears. The lenses starting getting scratches after a few months. I took them where my husband gets his glasses and they told me the protected coating was defective and worn off. I then took them back to Sears and they said I caused all the scratches. I then took them to another optical shop and they told me also the protective coating had worn off and that's why they were so scratched. It is so bad it looksd like their cloudy. I will never buy glasses at sears again. They do not stand behind their warranty. I have been wearing glasses for 42 years and I know how lenses are suposed to perform.
