I was in a Citibank branch on Friday, March 5, in Greenlawn NY. I wanted to comment on the abuse some of your employees receive from customers. The branch manager was trying to move the teller line along when a couple waiting in line in front of me were so mean and nasty regarding the amount of tellers working. The manager tried to assist them and apologized for the inconvenience. I was an employee of the bank in the city and was let go over 2 years ago and visit this branch regularly to take care of my mothers banking I have seen these employees on various occasions and they are always smiling and acknowledge all the customers. The manager is always there talking with customers, helping the tellers and doing whatever she can. I know that peoplelove to complain and rarely pay any ompliments. I am not a big fan of Citibank but this branch and the manager go above and beyond every day and the big executives could careless about how they are staffed. I just needed to say something, because these employees deserve it.
