I saw a television commercial for a medical card discount insurance plan. Since I have a pre-existing condition and am currenly unemployed, I cannot receive affordable healthcare.
After I had money deducted from my account using my bank debit card, I changed my mind and wanted to cancel. When I tried to cancel, I was provided with this telephone number: 1 (800) 360-6543 which was always receiving "too many calls" with a recorded message saying to please call back. Needless to say, the telephone line was always busy.
When I called the number given on the commercial to sign up, this number was never busy. I spoke to the customer service representative, Connie who handled my case. I informd her that I just signed up a couple of days ago, and felt that I could not afford this and wanted to cancel. I was told "Good luck trying to cancel".
I waited until I received my packet information, then I immediately called to cancel my bank debit card to ensure that they would not automatically use my debit card for future payments.
