Had empire come out for an estimate. First of all I was not impressed with their quality of carpeting. Second, the salesman never gave me an itemized bill for the carpet and instillation. When I called empire the customer service person got a bit snippy with me when I asked why that was. She said it wasn't their policy to do so which I thought was strange. How does one compare prices? I also asked what the measurements were for future reference. She said 199.9 sq. Feet and that the carpet I wanted would be $1000 installed. $1000 for 1 room! And the carpet was not high quality as we saw at Home Depot. We then took our own measurements which came out to 136.5 sq. Ft. Imagine that!!! Beware
