If I can save just one person from agony and stress like I experienced, then this posting has done it's job. I would avoid this property, and any other Miller - Valentine Property, like the plague. I lived at Bent Tree Apartments for about a year. During the year that I lived there, at first it was great. Then I lost my job. I worked my hind end off to find a different job, and I scraped together what little money I had saved up to make rent. They worked with me for the first couple months, but after that they became real pains about it. I always let them know in advance that the rent was going to be late, paid at least half of the rent by the usual due date, and then made arrangements to pay the other half. They always got their money, and it was never more than 10 days late. Even though I did this for them, they made my life a living hell. They picked on me and my room mate every month after we started falling behind.
