They have raised our rent $570.00 in the last 4 months.
We have lived here for almost 2 years, on a 1 year and then 8 month leases.in February we chose to go month to month and our rent went up $400.00 starting on the 1st of May. (it would have gone up $200.00 if we signed a lease) On May 9 we received in the mail a notice dated May 1 stating our rent would be going up another $170.00 effective July 1. They claim they put one on our door May 1, but we were home all day and no one even came up our stairs (we can hear it) Also I can see my front door from my home office.
In addition to your rent you pay for water and trash and they charge $20.00 a month per cat and $45.00 per month per dog, PLUS a pet deposit. You are also required to have a LIABILITY insurance policy on your apartment.
They also require 60 days notice to vacate which makes it hard to find a new place.
