Today @ 2/19 4:10pm I called Suddenlink Communications Tech support after seeing a list of inbound events in internet & network events on McAfee Home internet personal security center view log view recent events.
After talking with employee tech Rose ID#10043050 to no avail, I asked to speak with the supervisor Dustin @ext 2633 as provided, about the situation of the logs and unsolicited attempts at connection to UDP ports. Who in turn stated there is no reason for pings and all information is kept there at suddenlink. After contacting McAfee supervisor Singh stated there legal department would call back within 30min after requesting copies of the event logs.
Extremely unusual for employees of suddenlink communications here in Tyler, Tx (formally Cox Communications) whereas all previous years calls for assistance with internet services and support have always been fast and to the point. Looking at the logs dating back to time of purchase 2/10 it seems very apparant that some employees at Suddenlink Communications are indeed invading privacy by attempting multiple times from the date of purchase as fact to gain access to the ports on my computer.
Even more interesting is the fact that the option to ban IP from enter onto the ban IP list on McAfee is not available just for suddenlink attempts. Even tho there are a few attempts made by companies and sources in different countries, some people at Suddenlink attempt all day and night with the events there on the McAfee Security program confidently provided.
One could only imagine what Dustin and other employees are doing to other customers computers in confidence of privacy and security as just supposedly posing as the internet service provider and recalling at the same time Dustin decided to take it upon his self to try to manipulate the situation and state the meanings of attempts are not defined, also trying to cover up the fact the UPDs have nothing more to do with the the PC other than just saying hi and bye adds to the aggravating situation. The play dumb maneuvers attempted by conversation of the employees were executed admirably yet looked down at and added more to my already unfortunate PTSD and mental anguish and injuries. Even tho there still are few attempts by out-of-the country sources. All of the above would be just interesting blame and mame and talk if it had not have been recorded. Thinking of Suddenlink Communications all these years, all hope is lost of privacy and confidentiality by fellow neighbors, and even more unfortunate the fact that I am stuck with this internet service provider since they are the only high speed internet cable service available in my location.
I would say you have the ability to UPDATE your Report and reflect the good business practices by explaining that your eagerness to satisfy the complaint and make things right will be seen by the entire world. But I guess we all already know the damage is done and recorded. Failure to respond/rectify to the situation will also be seen.
