On febuary 14 2010 me and my boyfriend stayed at the boston park plaza hotel for our valentines getaway. A week before our stay we was going online looking to find a really nice hotel that we wouldnt normally stay in on a regular basis we came across a few choices but the boston park plaze seem to stand out from the rest with there pictures on the there website and there prices wasnt that much from there own site it looked like a charming historic hotel with luxary theme with there pretty gold and old historic look. When we frist walk in the lobby after paying 40 for parking we notice a very busy hotel we had to stand and wait in line for a very long time. As we went into the room we was very disappointed did not look like any of the picture we seen online it looked more like a motel than a hotel. The room was small and we booked for a queen and we got double beds everything in the room was so outdated the bathroom was gross the tiling was old and coming off the floor. The room really spoil our nice romantic evening. I called down to the front desk and asked them why didnt we get a nicer room they said you booked a standard and that is a standard room. I stayed at better standard rooms before from a 2 star hotel i though a hotel like boston park plaza will have a really nice standard room. There was nothing about that room that a regular super 8 motel doesnt have i will say a motel 8 has a coffee maker in the room and the plaza doesnt. It says free internet but some how it seems to show up on your bill. The next morning at 8 in the morning we get a knock at the door from room service seeing if we was still in the room before i even got to the door she had already open the door i thought that was very rude. She wanted to she if we was still there so she can clean the room i was very upset checkout time wasnt until 12 noon and she's knocking at the door at 8 in the morning I would not want anybody to stay at this hotel or should i say motel
