Ok. So it all started here. I was looking for a car on craigslist one day and came by an ad that said "1999 Honda Accord" So I clicked into it. It was on there for $4500 but it said it had high miles. I then contacted the man who assured me that he took it on a trade from a young lady who took very well care of the car and just traded it for a 2008 Honda Accord coupe he had. I took his word for it and looked at the pictures which looked good at the time so I set a time for me to go see it the next day.
When I got there the next day December 7th, The car wasn't cleaned, The seat had HUGE rips in it, but running it ran GREAT. The only problem that my boyfriend & I noticed about the car was it sounded like a motor mount was going bad. We thought for that price we could replace it & that would be no problem. We made a deal on closing out at $3500 WALK OUT price. The NEXT DAY December 8th I had to work at night, Got off work at 12:30am excited to drive my new car, it was EXTREAMLY cold out so I warmed it up for 20 minutes, Started to drive & THERE WAS NO HEAT. I drove home freezing my but off.
On December 8th I had to work again but this time the problem was on the way to work. I drove maybe 3 miles at MOST from my house and the car starts OVER HEATING I could not believe that a car I had BOUGHT 3 days ago is OVER HEATING. I then called the man I bought it from to see if there was something we could work out and he told me "What do you expect from a car that has 250,000. Miles on it? You bought it & theres nothing i'm going to do about it." So basically what he was telling me is F* YOU its your problem now.
After that conversation I called my mechanic and took it by his shop. Come to find out the water pump is blown, it needs a new radiator, the heating tube to bring the heat into the car doesn't work, and what we thought was the motor mount going bad what we were told is actually the transmission about to GO.
Its bullshit. I finally got it back on the road and called them to see if my plate was ready because it was expired on the 7th of January. When i called Tues the 5th the man I spoke to said they would get the plate that afternoon and I could pick it up on Wed. Wed morning I left my house to go to Gainsville from OCALA and got there my plate was not there. I explaned to them I had called and they told me that it would be there & I had driven a half hour just to pick it up. They told me the only way I could get it is if I waited in Gainsville for an hour so they could go get it. They also had a big attitude about it like it was MY FAULT. I drove around waiting finally went back & they put my plate on my car & when he was doing so I asked about another Accord they had for sale there and the guy was rude about it. They are rude people and i would never do buisness with them again i got the car december 7th today is now january 14th and i have yet to get my title. They make me so mad I HATE Florida Auto Brokers!
