I have bought an HP Model # dv5-1159se last 11/28/08. I bought this laptop to be sent overseas this Aug as a gift. I never used this laptop but was repaired by HP in Jan 24 because there is nothing but black screen with the power On. AC/battery. I was so disappointed with it. When they returned it back, it was on the receipt that it is the system board. And they replaced the AC adapter that heats up. After checking if it's repaired, I have kept the laptop securely until I checked it again this April 12, and found the same problem. Now, I have to send this laptop again for repair. This is not fair! The laptop is NEW. NEVER USED but need to be repaired the 2nd time. What a poor quality. I will never buy and never recommend HP. I have one laptop of different brand which is 3 years now, a desk top of another brand which is 5 years now. I have never encountered a problem at all. I regret buying an HP notebook.
