I bought a dv5t 1200se laptop. About 6 months the battery is dead. They replaced another battery for me. Althought I have the knowledge of how to prolong a battery life. The battery is dead again within a few months. Since the warranty is expired I have to bought the battery out of my pocket. I do not know how long this one will last. I know normally a battery will last from 2 to 3 years. I had an old laptop and the battery last for 5 years. I am very dissappointed. I think they sold me a malfunction laptop.
