I purchased an HP dv9000us laptop a little over 2 years ago. I have had nothing but trouble. A couple of times I called in but always some impediment. Recently my screen went out. My warranty ran out but what is funny is that HP knew of these problems, posted a bulletin and indicated that if you are not having a problem you could not get it repaired. If you did, it was within a year, they would pay for the repair. Well I am pissed off. My unit goes out a little over a month after the coverage but they will not repair. They knew of the need for the repair, they should have recalled the unit. Now I have a junk unit for a computer and all they say is sorry. I had purchased several HP products. Never again and right now I am on a nightly writing campaign to cause as much hurt to them over this as I can. If I dissuade one buyer great. My most expensive computer in the house turns out to be nothing but junk. Funny thing is I don't even treat it like a laptop. It never leaves the house or the desk that it is on.
