I have always completed the jobs on time -sometimes working hard over week-ends and late nights to satisfy clients - for this translation company plus they have asked me twice if I could provide a translator German/French -since I do EN/FR - which I did. I issued an invoice in February for 600 euros and I have to issue another one roughly equivalent. I have worked with them in the past and I had noticed they were paying late but then I thought perhaps they might improve since developping a working relationship over one year might suppose fairness and transparency. I have never failed them, whether translating or proofreading. Finally, when asked to proofread a small text over two weeks ago, I informed them that I could not take on new projects since they were not paying me. I haven't heard a word since then and despite sending numerous emails to remind them about my outstanding invoice, I never got a reply. This is totally unfair considering the timely delivery and the quality of my work which they never complained about.
