Freedom Resource called me about a credit card with a $2000.00 limit. I had to pay a $221 fee which was deducted from my checking account. This was in October.
I was told that I would receive a package in 7 business days with the information and card. After 2 weeks had gone by, I began calling them to see what was happening. They told me that the printing system was down and it would come any day.
I received the package in January. The package was a bunch of junk about some hotel discounts, and free mess that you could not access without calling the long distance number that they supply you with that keeps you on hold for an hour. There was no credit card.
I called again to see what happened to the card and they told me that an acceptance letter would follow the package. I never received the letter. They finally faxed the letter only to inform me that the Mastercard the I was too receive had no money on it. I had to put the $2000.00 on the card in order to use it.
I demanded my money back. I mailed the package back certified mail in Febuary. I received a letter to sign stating why I wanted a refund. I mailed it back certified mail and have not received my money yet. I have a copy of the signed return receipt and I want my money back. I will sue if I have too.
