The store manager charged my debit card for a payment without my consent. I was notified by my bank for debit charges, that is the only way I knew. I called him he stated that I had signed up for the service, which I didn't. The card used was just recently received, I have had my account with TRS for 9 months. They have never charged my card before.
He had a form with no debit info on it, it was blank. It had my husband signature on it as if it was a part of the originial contract. He refused to give me a copy of that form. He stated that they had no grace period. I was out of town and it was only 2 days late. I explained to him if I had auto-pay initially why had only one payment been taken out. I had used that card to make a previous payment. The debit card was a new one and my husband was not even on that card. I only have a few months left on the refrigerator, other than that I would return it for his dishonesty.
He was rude... Stated he would come pick it up if I no longer wanted it. I also had checks to bounce because of that charge. I have called corporate several times... Noone has returned my called. The incident happened about Jan. 10.
