I wanted to lease a pre-leased desktop computer for my granddaughter and since I leased from Aarons before I thought it would be fine. Wrong answer! Mamagement had changed and attitudes as well. I leased a previously leased Dell Dimension C521. I began having problems with the registry, but insted of windows correcting the problem it just continued. I printed 14 pages of errors, not only did they not listen, but pretty much blew me off. The last straw was when the mouse no longer worked properlu. Due to my right hand being partially paralized I was having a great deal of difficulity. I called several time and was given all kinds of run arounds. But the the last straw was when I called Dell and was informed that I could not get any information or service because the computer was registered to someone else. This meant that what was left of the warranty was pretty much null and void as far as my lease was concerned. The next day I went into the store and confronted the manager and he in essence said that I would still make payments for something that was uselees to me and my granddaughter. There seems to companies like this waiting like vultures to prey on those of use who cannot obtain credit or purchase outright a few things. I am an honest person who due to several years of health problems, I am considered a bad credit risk. Oh, and by the way this has been a real struggle trying to type this report.
