I have a leased Dell Vostro 1510. We are in to the third year of our lease and I was interested in upgrading and extending my lease for another three years. The lady, whom I am almost certain was of Eurpean Indian decent, informed me that this could not be done without paying of the remaining 11 months on this computer. I asked if they did not have a policy similar to telephone companies and was informed they were not a telephone company. Needless to say I am most frustrated. I will search for another computer company to deal with that has better customer service people, hopefully in the US. I just have a hard time believing they are more interested in the 11 months left on the lease than on a customer that thought enough of the product to look for an upgrade and lease for another three years!
