I had a boyfriend that had a Dish Network account. I made the first initial payment with my debit card of $49.99.6 months later after I've already moved out from the boyfried, Dish Network charged my debit card $579.00 for cancellation fees and equipment fees. Apparently my ex-boyfried did not pay his bill, Dish Network cancelled the account and charged my debit card for the equipment and cancellation charges. I did not have a signed contract with Dish Network for services nor did I have a signed contract with Dish Network authorizing them to charge my debit card.
