First, I do not have an account with Dish Network. I made the simple mistake of trying to help my sister who had a house fire get back on her feet by paying for the FIRST month on my debit card. When authorizing the FIRST payment I advised the dish representative that I was only authorizing the FIRST payment. The representative assured me that this was the case. 5 days before the due date of my sister's next bill Dish decides to debit MY card for the second payment. When I discovered this almost 10 days ago, my sister called Dish Network and they apologized and told her the payment would be credited to my account within 3 days. Today is day 10 and still no sign of the credit. My sister called Dish again and was advised that because of her billing cycle that they would not credit the account. WHAT? This was an account that was NOT authorized for more than the initial payment. She spoke with someone in accounting who told her that he had over-ridden the do not credit on her Dish account and that I should have the money credited back to my account no later than Friday, that is 3 days away. These people do not care that they are taking UNAUTHORIZED funds from someone's account who does not have anything to do with their account. I have NEVER had Dish Network and NEVER will!!!
