I purchases a new 2013 Ford Escape from this dealership with the maintenance free package. I brought it in for my first oil change and told Candace about check engine light coming on and off. I was told when I got my vehicle that no codes were showing and it was okay. Brought in for second oil change again telling Service Advisor Rick about check engine light coming on. He called to tell me car was ready but yes code was saying engine coolant bypass value system needed checked but I needed to bring it back in when he had a technician that could diagnosis the problem time 3 in checked no code reset computer told ok. Left didn't get home and check engine light was on again. Called Candace told me to bring it back and before I could get back in car to bring it back got call from Rick. They were busy and could not get me back in could I bring it back next saturday. I took it to a mechanic who put on his diagnostic and yes code was present printed it out to bring back with us he came with me this time. Then we were told yes there was a problem and they would order the part to be in on Monday to bring it back again and for my trouble I would receive a full tank of gas. Time estimated 45 min to 1hr. Well took back Saturday 2 hours called and was told it would be another 1 and a half. When I picked up car after service closed no gas. Took on monday for my "free tank of gas" and they had my car over 30 minutes. I am stuck with using them for my oil changes or eat the cost of that plan. Do not purchase anything from lenoir city ford and definetly do not get your car/truck serviced there.
