I took my car to AAmco on3/12 to have it put on there machine because I saw on TV where they would check to see why the check engine light was on in the car for free. I live pay check to pay check so I wanted to save the money for the repairs to be done. Mark told me I need a Crank Postion Sensor and told me it would coast me 207.87 to repair. I ask was that all wrong with the car he said yes so I told okay do the work. I waited for the car because I have no other transportation It took him hours to get parts he said was in stock and when they did come he told me they were the wrong one and had to go next door to get the right ones. He replace the parts I left no check engine light was on car was running okay. I went shopping and when I return to the car it would not start and the check engine light was back on. I called him and ask that I bring the car back to him that following day which was a Saturday I did. He took it in the back for about and hour brought the car back to me said he fix the problem if I have any more problems to bring it back. 2 hours after leaving the check engine light was back on and the car stalled out. I called but the shop was close so I called him first thing Monday morning he asked to bring car to him I told him that I could not get there unrtil Saturday he sid okay see you then. Every Saturday since the first time I took the car there I had to go back to him and neither time had he fix the problem. I got in the car one Sunday to go to Church car would not start so I call early that Monday he set the tow truck for the car and told me he will call me when he fix it. This is when the night mare begin. This man had rig me car to work. Car was still giving me trouble so I bit the bullet and took it to Nissan to have it put on there diagnostic machine cause AAmco could not fix the problem Nissan told me that nothing was coming up on there machine no codes no nothing then they look under the hood there was black tape every where wires that had been cut and other wires put in there in replace other the wires. The asked me if someone had work on the car I told them yea but they could not fix it so I came here. Nissan told me that who ever did this work had put in after market wire spliced into the main engine harness and some and there was some sort of glue holding this black tape and wires togather inside the sensors. I asked how much will it cost to get this done right they quoted me 2,588.69 to replace the harness and sensors and with that they would not be sure to say it this will fix my problem. I am so mad and do not know what to do 207.87 he took from me will now cause me 2588.00 to get repaired and then on top of all that it might fix the problem. DO not take your car to AAmco for repairs they will screw you over I do not have that type of money and I have a car that I do not feel to be save to drive. Can not trade I owe to much on it. It is so sad that people do other people this way.
