I purchased some software, which ended up being a scam (different issue) for $2.00. I immediately requested a refund. Emailed, called, screamed on the phone, finally got a response via email stating I would see the refund in 5-7 business days. No refund ever came. A month later I was charged $20.00 through SWReg through some non-existant recurring monthly charge of $20.00. It is a good thing I noticed this or that would have cost me $240 a year until my credit card expired. Unbelievable.
