I went on amazon.com, logged in, and was offered to choose "one of the free gifts" for completing a survey, all I had to pay was shipping and handling. Chose a necklace from MiuMilano and paid $5.99 for shipping and handling. A week or two later, I was charged a full price $98! Called the company, a rude rep told me i didn't read the "terms and conditions" and there was nothing they could do for me. Contacted amazon and was told since this order doesn't show up on my order history that means I dealt with MiuMilano through their website, and amazon is not responsible for that ad. Tried to reverse/dispute the transaction with my bank and was told to take it to court! I am 8 months pregnant, don't work and can't afford a fake necklace for $98. All I want is to return the merchandise that haven't even been taken out of the box and get my money back. Desperate, I contacted MiuMilano again and said I was going to file a dispute with my bank (already knew bank wasn't going to help me). They told me they would make an exception for me and refund my money "with the understanding that a dispute will not be filed"! Supposedly, the refund would show up on my card in 1-3 days. A week later, there was no refund! Contacted them again and they tell me the refund has been processed and the BS transaction ID number of the refund! Ugh. I am still out of money and frustrated to no end. What else can I do.
