When we switched from a land line (AT&T) to a satellite phone (Verizon), our ADT alarm system stopped working. We were finally told that the alarm system would not work with our new phone system BUT we were locked into our contract and had to continue paying monthly service charges, which are taken directly from our bank account.
The monthly charge is $26.66. I think ADT should let potential customers know that their alarm system does not work with all phone configurations. Every time I see one of their ads on TV, I get mad all over again.
