Master Protection Agreemnet - what a rip off - customer service is crap - go to Home Depot - kenmore range

I have had a protection agreement for 8 years on my range. The glass top is severly scratched. I am now told that the wording on Page 1:

"COVERAGE FOR REPAIRS. We will directly pay on your behalf the cost of parts and services that are needed to maintain the proper operating condition of your Covered Product including repairs necessary due to normal wear and tear. Repair services will be performed by a qualified repair technician (%u201C Sears Repair%u201D) designated by us."

Is superceded by the wording on Page 6. You would have to be a lawyer to read this document. And read all 8 pages of it. If you are not going to cover glass tops... Just say so.

I was transferred to 5 people... Sears counts on you becoming frustrated and that you will give up. I have bought ALL my appliances from Sears for the last 40 years. I am building my dream home and designing my dream kitchen. I will NEVER buy from Sears again.

Wall Street says that Sears is dying a slow death... That it can't compete with the Home Depots, Wall Marts, etc. I think Sears can't compete because their executives are not listening to their customers.

Keep treating your customers like this and Sears will be gone before you can blink!
