Citibank not making payments - blame the recipient - Financial Transactions Failing

We are a group of international business consultants working across the Globe for major corporations. We are all hired through an agency in Spain who bank with Citicorp.

All of us have had payments that did not arrive on time although the agent was claiming the payment had been made in time - in fact the record is an average of 75% of payments late and only sorted after long "debates" with the agent and Citibank. This week again! We have the same - and the agent writes after we have checked through our bank and gone back to the Agent.
"As you can see Sonsoles Amador Mendez, our bank officer at CITIBANK is saying that the money should already be in your bank account, as the payment was done on the 23rd November, so please check this with your bank with this information that I am sending you."
Checks again show that NO funds have arrived either on the 23rd or any day since. The only Bank that can trace a payment is the sender - not the receiver and Mr Mendez MUST know this.
My vote as a victim! Completely dissatisfied and recommend all to avoid at all costs.
