I responded to Dell televised advertisement in the Seattle area by calling their 800 line. Dell 800 line agents recorded incorrect information for my billing and shipping. I did not receive billing from Dell because they recorded the my personal billing and shipping wrong. Because dell has misinformation on file you can not E-mail Dell on their web site since the information you are asked to log in must duplicate theirs.
I called the 800 line to resolve this problem and was able to determine Dell sent a billing I did not receive. I then gave the 800 line agent the correct information several times, the agent then repeated the information back incorrectly, after several times of this merry-go-round I gave it up. I then wrote in handwritting to the Austin Texas address about the problem and have received no reply. I used the US bcsd@dell E-mail address advising them of the problem but still no reply. The 800 line agent way of handling the problem was to tell me the pay the whole amount in full for the amount of the invoice they have file, after investigating the matter Dell would refund the difference to me at a later date.
I bought a computer and printer in response to the television advertisements and rebates special offers for both home PC and printer. I agreed to these terms 6mo. Same as cash, no interest if paid in full before the 6th mo., no finance fee, no set up fee for a charge account, rebates to be applied to the final purchase, and a 30 day free trial offer. What is supposed to be $429 dollar after rebate special is being billed to me for $985 and $79 for both computer and printer. I want Dell to honor their agreement with me and give the price we agreed to. I dont understand why they wont contact me to resolve this issue as indicated in published literature promising a quick response to E-mail 6hrs. Or less. I have given dell the pertinent data to resolve this issue but it remains unresolved.
