Before you buy any dell product, check out the consumer forum on their website! You will find that Dell printers only work right with Dell printers. Dell printers can only use Dell printer cartridges and they are not available except by mail order from Dell. The cartridges are more expensive than others and you have to pay shipping and handling. Such a rip-off! People writing into the Dell forum are stating that their printers are not printing and are giving incorrect error messages. If your printer is out of warranty, forget getting any response at all. You are on your own! You cannot even get into an online chat with tech support at all. I will never, ever purchase another Dell product! I strongly suggest that others take the same position!
