Became eligable for the american recovery act, got service worse than dial-up

Me and my wife was thrilled to learn that we got accepted for the American Recovery Act to have faster service than dial-up to do our college classes at home making it better suited for me to work at driving a school bus and for her to stay at home to take care of the kids. Shortly after we was installed our system started to get slower and slower eventually coming to a complete stop. We then was talked into an up-grade thinking that we was over loading the plan we had purchased. One day after the expensive up-grade we again experienced another slow down. We was lead to believe that our computers or wireless router was defected so we hired a friend that is a certified tech to look at equipment costing us 50.00. To our sup prize we found out that our equipment was not the problem but it was Hughes nets problem. With the up-grade we was told that we would have 1.5 speed but our tech ran a speed test on our computers and found that we was only receiving an amazing. 1 speed nearly not enough to run our blackboard programs to do exams, discussion boards, and even home work assignments. I have been demanding my service that I ordered for the last month and am getting nothing but more trouble with my service by getting an DNS look-up server error being told that the problem is on our end. They finally admitted to their problems but still no one to fix the problem. They have a technician call to set up a appointment to fix the problems only during the times when I am at work driving a school bus knowing I cannot talk during these times. They have also refused to allow my wife to talk to them when I am gone also knowing that after 4:00 Pm she will not be at home also due to duties for the kids after school activities. They called today at 4:02 on September 20 to set up an appointment. This technician will not answer his phone when I try to call back on my limited time but insists on calling on the usual times that I am not there. I also do 5 NA meetings a week at 7:00pm so I have requested that they call me at 8:00am best time I will be at home but have yet got a call on this time. Due to the slow down I really got behind on 2 of my classes that I have had to drop costing me around a thousand dollars, the cost of tuition and books so I will have to eat these expenses and will have to retake these with another thousand dollars for me to pay again. I take pride in my school classes being almost 34 years old with a 3.9 grade average. This is why I am so angry at Hughes net that they have lied and took my hard work jeopardizing my good average because of their fraud and taking advantage of the government program that was set up to help the poor Appalachian Region. I would like nothing more to sue to the point that they finish paying for the rest of my entire school since Hughes net thinks my school needs are so unimportant. Need help soon, trying to maintain my cool but on the edge of loosing it worse than I did today and still the same game whether being nice for one month or a complete asshole for a day.
