Last night, I ordered a computer via Dell, totaling about $1200.00. I received an email that the credit card needed to be verified. I decided to cancel the order as this was a bad omen.
I have just spent 15 minutes being transferred around, and waiting for the order to be cancelled. I have been told that "the system is down", and that I cannot cancel it right now.
Granted, if they are having trouble verifying the card, I will not receive the order anyway. But, that does not excuse the fact that I could not cancel it online. The order is pending, so it should be able to be cancelled.
