I purchased an Inspiron 1501. After a year, the motherboard went. Dell replaced it with a "refurbished" one. The one they replaced went bad after 8 months. I called dell and they are refusing to fix it due to my warranty expiring. I filed a report with BBB. Dell calls me to "resolve" the situation by telling me I can PAY Dell to have it fixed with another REFURBISHED part!
I told him (over there in India) that I shouldn't have to pay! They supplied a defective part! This went back and forth several times. I finally asked him why he called me to "resolve" the situation if he wasn't planning on actually RESOLVING IT?!! He had no answer! What a
shock!
