Purchased the MagicJack for $39.95 on Novemver 18 and their Terms of Service states:
Use of the magicJack device is free. Your purchase of the magicJack device and registration of the magicJack device gives you a license to use the magicJack and the Software for one year. To continue using the magicJack device and the Software after the end of the initial one-year term, you must renew your Software access license for additional one-year terms at magicJack's then applicable license fee. Failure to renew your registration after the end of the initial term or any renewal term will result in immediate termination of your license...
You agree to be responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or charges, now in force or enacted in the future in connection with the license and your use of the magicJack device.
So my account was good up until November 18. They then had an offer to sign uo for an EXTENDED 5 years at $59.95 I did this. But they only gave me 4 more years - until 2013. When I contacted them, they said the 5 year contract included the first year - but that was given to me for FREE with my purchase of $39.95! My account should have been extended to 2014 but they ripped me off for a full year of service that I paid for!
