Broadbandoffers.com - Comcastoffers.com - "LOST IN MAIL" REBATE SCAM

Ordered Modem in June. Submitted all proper forms and documentation for modem in same month - June. Heard or received nothing. Sent email in October to inquire about status. Status was listed as processing. Contacted again in December. Status now listed as "checks mailed October 4. Sent email to [email protected]. Received email stating that checks were mailed. If not received, then they were "lost in the mail". According to their terms and agreement, they are NOT responsible for checks lost in the mail. How convenient! Since the checks expired in December, they refused to reissue them. Finally found a phone contact and spoke with 2 reps. They simply reiterated their stance - not responsible for "lost mail". They did note that the checks were never cashed, but mail not returned to them. Totally odd! Never had any missing mail in my entire life. Broadbandoffers.com refused to help. You have no recourse with them. And Comcast claims no responsibility although they do have a partnership with Broadbandoffers.com.in the end, the consumer is screwed. You are tricked into buying the modem and they have so many clever terms and conditions that they actually can find so many ways not to pay your rebates! I am continuing to send emails to them and to Comast. I advocate that you do the same and also contact Comcast Corporate Offices and ask for the Marketing department who handles partnerships with Broadbandoffers! Comcast: 925-973-7000. Broadbandoffers: 1-877-668-7221 Keep after them!
