People pc is the most disreputable company i have ever had the misfortune of dealing. You cannot get satisfaction because the people you deal with are from india, and i imagine they feel pretty protected lying.
On june 7, i called and spoke with someone, who said her name was erica this was after i had checked my bank account and discovered that they had stolen $54 from my account. I had pre-paid for the so called service that was to be $4.95 per month for i believe 3 months.
I told this young lady that i wanted this account cancelled, and that they were not authorized to go into my bank account. I repeated my request atleast 6 times because she kept ignoring my request for a cancellation, i had to repeatedly tell her i want to cancel, cancel, cancel.
After nearly 20 minutes of her hasseling me for trying to simply cancel i asked her for my confirmation number which i have reported to the BBB. This was not to be the end. Five days later these people went back into my account and stole themselves $64.89 and caused me to to get an overdraft, because they tried for another amount, so people pc took me for $129.75 in less than a week, and because they tried to steal more money that i did not have they had me incurring to nsf charges totaling $50. This scam of theirs cost me a total of $179.75 all in less than a week.
I immedialy called and asked the first person i spoke with saying her name was Christine why they went back into my account after i had cancelled 5 days ago. I became enraged and she switched me to someone whom i could barely understand he said that his name was Ridge, which i think is made up. I asked him where they were based he said india, i told him that i wanted my money put back into my account immediately, he said he had to speak with his corporate office. That as i say was on june 12.
I have yet to hear from them, this ridge individual is on record with my phone service, and also i asked him for a confirmation number he said it was a 7 digit number which i have. I gave the BBB the wrong confirmation number from this ridge person, i also have a confirmation number from the individual calling herself erica. If i do not hear from these people I plan to sue them.
This seem like a small problem, but if you add up all the people who have been taken to the cleaners by a company based in san francisco and having workers based in india who consistently lie so badly that you can smell it there should be something done about it.
My next step will be my state representatives, and following will be a lawyer. Please people contact the better business bureau regarding this and your state representatives they can be stopped, but you must be willing to stand behind what you start, i will!
