We have had Suddenlink for cable and "high speed" internet for awhile now, and believe me, if we had a choice, we would drop them - well like they always drop the cable!
Over the past year, we have had several issues with Suddenlink, formerly Cebridge Connections. The main problem is, when we call to find a solution, the CSRs are some of the rudest most beligerant people I have ever dealt with; especaily at the call center in ID.
One time, they actually disconnected us for FOURTEEN DOLLARS! This amount was charged when we "upgraded" our service, and did not appear on any bill until it was past due. When I called the service line, the lady told me that if I would only pay my bills, this wouldn't be happening to us. ~??? I happen to pay these jerks on time every month, but no - it's our fault they never billed us, right? Oh, wait, one time I dropped the check in their drop box, (before it was due) and was then told that I was late, because the guy that runs our office hadn't mailed the payments in yet.
As for the internet service mentioned above, it is horrible!!! We pay for broadband, high speed internet, (and pay alot) and when we called to complain about the speed, they of course, were rude, but did in fact send out a tech. (he was a real winner, by the way) Their (not ours) employee checked the speed and said himself that it is slower than mollasses in January. But, in keeping with Cebridge tradition, there is nothing they can do, and no, they will not discount our package, because it is our fault that we live in an area where the "lines are bad".
In closing, I would reccomend exploring other avenues for services before resorting to the Suddenlink/Cebridge trap. These people are unscrupulous, rude, and really don't seem to care whether or not their customers are happy, much less recieving the "services" they pay for. Buyer BEWARE!!
