Ripoff lousy service plan on site service is a scam

Over the last year I have purchased four (4) Dell computers for my real estate company. For two of the computers I ordered the extended "on site" warranty. WELL THAT IS A RIP OFF AND WASTE OF MONEY...

The first computer went on the fritz four hours after we turned it on. We called Dell, spent hours on hold, then spoke with someone who could BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH. Their idea of "on site service" is for me to get on my knees take off the cover and pull out parts while they do diagnostic testing on the phone. WRONG, not what I had in mind.

The part arrived two days later and a service tech two days after that. One hour after he left it was AGAIN ON THE FRITZ. Another call, more hours on the eternal hold and then another service call.

My second computer lasted about four days (a laptop) and after spending hours on the eternal hold with again someone very difficult to understand, being cut off and dial back and then more time on the eternal hold, take it apart and the answer: Dell will send a new part and we have to install it. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE ON SITE SERVICE THAT I PAID $150.00 for? The new part has come in and I had the Dell service man that came to repair the other computer install it. He only charge me $25.00 paid directly to him and then told me the mother board was bad, call Dell. Now I have to go through the whole process again and I want my money back..

Next time i'll buy a gateway computer at best buy and when i have a problem i will drive 5 minutes to the store and have it fixed. They also speak english and the warranty is cheaper than dell's.
