I bought a HP a600n computer in July 2004, the CD drive is no longer working. The computer is yet under warranty. After doing what the tech told me to do, the computer crashed, finally I sent it back to the City of Commerce for repairs, it is unclear what exactly was done, the paper only says that 4 tests were done. No one was able/willing to tell me what was done to remedy the problem.
At this time the CD drive still does not work.
They have told me to send the computer back to them a second time. I have e-mailed countless times and made numerous phone calls and each time I get a different person, with a slightly different solution, all act as if they do not understand English.
I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission against them and looking to see what legal action I can also take. Do NOT buy a HP computer, no matter how low the price is. The computers are not good, and the customer service is the worst of all. They also do not tell the truth when you talk to them, if you get a straight answer it will be a lie.
