In 18 months we have had 3 defective Pavilion computers.in July I received a new upgraded Pavilion from HP. It came with no memory installed. It was promptly sent back. It still did not operate properly when returned. Three months later Graphics issues and other issues persisted. The computer was sent to HP repair 3 months later. It arrived 4 days later with a new hard drive. More issues arose or continued and I now have to send it in for memory issues and the mother board is defective. Over 18 months later and more than 220 hours of HP tech phone support and I am again going to be without a computer for 4-6 days when I get it sent in again. I have the extended HP In Home Repair warranty, but it does not good. They can't or won't repair anything in my home. They do a limited amount of home repair and they do not tell you that you have to spend hours with HP phone support before they will consider sending out a repair person. How long does a consumer have to wait for a working computer, especially one that came with factory defective memeory and hard drive issues? Their case managers are very nice, but HP's warranty coverage is very poor.
