TCA Fulfillment Services Refund Perfidy
In Sept. 2004 bought a wireless network through Compusa with a rebate to be processed by TCA. The check never arrived and I never received a letter from the company stating my application had been rejected or even why. Upon inquiry, I was told that they could not "read" the receipt I had sent in. I found this strange given I had sent in the original receipt. I was told I could fax in a copy of the receipt which I did. On the website, it showed that my rebate had now been approved. I wait another two weeks and still no check. After calling the company I was told that it would be another 6 weeks before a check went out. This means that "if" the check goes out as promised, it will take the company 6 months to process my rebate! I asked to speak to the supervisor - I was told to calm down - then told a supervisor will contact me next week. I'm not holding my breath.
I have filed complaints with BBB against Compusa and TCA. Compusa promised the rebate so I feel they should also be on the hook here. My question is if there are any federal regulatory agencies that I can also file a complaint with. I want these people to suffer for their behavior.
